White Rules This Season
Fashion crowd once looked like sinister black crows circling a funeral, but this season the look is white as a sea wave.

All kind of garments are being subjected to the white-out. From crisply tailored pantsuits to the puff-sleeved empire dresses of Jane Austen, the freshness and innocence of white is everywhere.

Designers find it easiest to work with the basic black and white, as the colors are very functional.

After a Bohemian era of bright swirling pattern and Indian embroidery, white is being welcomed as a pure and calm change. Also, it works a sweet contrast to the long reigning surfeit of bubble-gum pink and frills.
