Kylie's Back!Kylie Minogue's comeback is well and truly on the road. The princess of pop touched down at Sydney airport on Sunday to kick off her Showgirl Homecoming tour with a gig on 11 November and said she was "thrilled to be back".
Kylie had to postpone her world tour when she was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, but she has beaten the disease and can't wait to get back to work. "I travelled with pretty much all the band, the dancers, so........Go to the Fashion-talk (Added on 11/6/2006 9:02:42 PM)

Sweater Girl ToteWith winter on its way the Sweater Girl Tote by Rafe has caught my eyes a few times at Anthropologie. I like the tassels and the metal hardware against the contrast of the grey knit and black leather.
More from Anthropologie:
Eventhough its not shown on the web site I've seen the Wise Old Tote and the Big Love Tote on the Sale racks.

Media And Body-imageNew research explores the relationship between so called "thin-ideal" images in the media and body-image issues among young women. Female undergraduates who viewed advertisements displaying ultra-thin women exhibited increases in body dissatisfaction, negative mood, levels of depression and lowered self-esteem. These findings were particularly true for women who have negative views of their current body image and believe themselves to be........Go to the Fashion-blog (Added on 10/27/2006 4:54:31 AM)
Anthropologie Dual Layered SkirtThis skirt was the precursor to my skirt addiction. I purchased it from Anthrolpologie online. Skirts weren't really my thing, but the picture on the website was gorgeous and it was unique, so I plunked down the cash for it. The first time I wore it I felt kind of awkward, so I stuck it back into my closet to "marinate".
It was a black linen skirt with lace trim that TRULY got me going on the skirt addiction, just a couple months later. Once........Go to the Fashion-blog (Added on 10/16/2006 8:32:49 PM)

Why Ultramarine Blue FadesThe 20-year restoration of Michelangelo's frescoes on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel has left visitors in awe of the work's original majesty--notably the brilliance of the blue that graces the Last Judgment's sky. Recent investigations into this shade of blue--ultramarine blue--have brought to light the pigment's tendency to fade. Is it possible that the longevity of such a masterpiece as the Last Judgment could be in peril?.

Nintendo T-shirts!Jean Snow blogged about the Nintendo T-shirts about a fortnight ago, then Kotaku and Game Set Watch picked up on it and then I guess the interest in the T-shirts from The King Of Games must have skyrocketed in Western countries because the website has spawned an English section where it will accept Paypal payments and ship overseas.

How Often Do You Apply Sunscreen? How often do you apply sunscreen? If it's anything less than once every 2 hours, you might be better off not using any in the first place.

Your Body Mass IndexThe BMI, short form for Body Mass Index is a useful tool used to assess overweight and obesity. This is also an excellent tool for evaluating changes in the body weight over some period of time. The concept of BMI evolved from the weight-for-height tables, which was in use for several years. Like the weight tables based on height, BMI has its limitations since it does not estimate body fat content or muscle directly. Sunscreens Can Damage SkinAre sunscreens always beneficial, or can they be detrimental to users? A research team led by UC Riverside chemists reports that unless people out in the sun apply sunscreen often, the sunscreen itself can become harmful to the skin.
